Kids Racing is held once a month (please check event calendar for dates). Our race cars start from $39 for the Scalextric Super Resistant Cars that we use as our main Kids Slot Car Racing class. These cars can be raced straight from the box. Then once the kids have mastered magnet racing they move onto our non magnet classes which allows the kids to start upgrading their slot cars bit by bit to match up with the regular club racing cars.
Entry is only $10 for the 3 classes on the day and includes the hire of the controller or $15 for the 3 classes including car hire. For more information please contact us at the following email address.

The Kids Racing classes are as follows:-
Scalextric Super Resistant Cars - 14 volts - Magnet :-
This is basically the same type of cars as the Porsche Hire Cars and this also includes the BMW Mini's and V8 Supercars that are made from the one piece plastic bodies with no interiors. All cars are to remain stock standard as they are from the box.
Ninco GT Race Cars - 10 volts - Non Magnet :-
Any Ninco GT Race Cars that raced from 2000 onwards. Modification are limited to replacing the tyres, wheels, axles, gears and motors. The body and chassis must remain stock.
Open SCX Rally TT Class (2wd & 4wd) - 10 volts - Non Magnet :-
Open to any Rally cars that have competed in a World Rally Championship or National Championship event. All cars must have a co-driver fitted as original from the factory. Pro racing versions are allowed. Gear ratios may be changed. Wheels and tyres may be changed as long as they do not protrude outside the guards when looked at from above. All high downforce magnet motors are banned. All cars must use a SCX motor.
